What is the American College of Veterinary Dermatology (ACVD)?

The ACVD is an official specialty board organization accredited by the American Veterinary Medical Association and charged with the maintenance of high standards of postgraduate training in veterinary dermatology. The ACVD is empowered to examine qualifying candidates and confer Diplomate status in the College. Board certification in the ACVD has been achieved by 150 veterinarians in the United States, Canada, and Australia since its creation in 1978.
